Cheese & Tomato Strata
7-10 Slices Bread
3 Tomatoes, sliced
1 Cup Shredded Imitation Cheddar
5 Green Onions, sliced
4 Large Eggs
1 1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Lightly grease an 8 inch square baking dish with butter. Place 3-4 slices of bread on the bottom of dish in one single layer. Arrange half the tomato slices over bread, sprinkle with half of the Whitehall Specialties Tierra De Queso Imitation Cheddar Cheese Shred and half of the onions. Cover with additional slices of bread, overlapping crusts. Top with remaining tomato slices, green onions, and Tierra De Queso Cheddar Cheese. Whisk eggs in a medium bowl. Add milk, salt and pepper. Whisk until well blended. Pour egg mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or at least 2 hours and up to 24 hours. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Uncover and bake 45-50 minutes or until puffed and golden and cheese is slightly browned. Dish tests done when a knife inserted near center comes out clean and dry. Season with additional salt, pepper, and onions as desired.
