Bread:
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
4 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup corn oil
1 1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1 tsp red food coloring
Filling:
8 oz. Whitehall Specialties Flavored Imitation Cream Cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1 Tbsp flour
1/2 tsp orange extract
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. In another bowl, combine eggs, oil, strawberries, and food coloring. Stir into dry ingredients, just until moistened. Set aside. For filling, beat Whitehall Specialties Flavored Imitation Cream Cheese until smooth. Add egg, sugar, flour, and orange extract. Beat well. Spoon 1/4 of the bread batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Spread 1/2 of the cream cheese filling over each. Top with the remaining bread batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 70 to 80 minutes or until tests done. If bread starts to brown too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from loaf pans to wire racks. Store bread in the refrigerator.
